With a focus on Spring for our forthcoming exhibition at Croome, Sian designed a project to create primroses and a mossy bank. Her workshop gave the members of the group a selection of felt making techniques and skills which can result in both two and three dimensional work. They are also skills which can be built upon in the future. The emphasis was on the individual’s interpretation of what we see in the environment in the Spring time.
The 2 workshops/demonstrations and 3 help and information sheets hopefully provided guidance for people who are less confident or who are totally new to Felt making. The accompanying images show the development throughout the project.
